Without an inventory list, we are going in blind to your move. To ensure we have the right size truck for the job at hand, we need a detailed and complete inventory list to pick the right sized truck for you and your home or office move.
Why do we need to pay insurance?
Insurance is there to ensure that any major damage to your items or property that could possibly occur will be covered under our insurance policy.
What isn’t covered under insurance?
Our Insurance covers major damage to items or property but will not cover cosmetic damage such as scuffs or scratches, along with novelty items such as a grandfather clocks, fish tanks and other items in this same vein. Other items not covered under our insurance are furniture items made of porous materials such as granite, marble, concrete etc.
What truck sizes do you have available?
We have multiple trucks within the fleet which cover a range of sizes to accommodate a variety of moves. For smaller moves we have the 5 Tonne and 6 Tonne trucks, normally suggested for 1 – 2 bedroom homes or small office spaces. Then in the larger sizes we have the 8 Tonne, 10 Tonne and 12 Tonne for 3 – 5 bedroom homes or larger office spaces.
Can we rent out the truck without the moving team?
No, we provide full service moving, which includes 2 to 3 removalists to ensure the move goes smoothly. If you are looking to rent a truck on its own, we suggest looking to car rental companies.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we have comprehensive insurance that covers most damage to property or items.
Why do you have an hourly charge instead of giving a total cost at quotation?
To ensure you are not over charged or undercharged for the services provided, we offer hourly rates and can provide a rough estimate on how long the move will take.
Can you do a move from outside Melbourne City Limits?
Yes, we can do moves across the state of Victoria, be it from Geelong, Lorne, the Mornington Peninsular, Mildura or within Melbourne and the greater region.
How long will the move take?
Depending on the size of your home or office, and how organised you are, it could take as little as 3 – 4 hours or a full day. Sometimes for extremely large moves it will take multiple days, but the more organised you are on the day of your move, the less time it will take for the moving team to get your belongings packed up into the truck and moved into your new home or office.
